Building a creative community

At that time, I had been working as a lawyer for more than five years, but I knew it wasn’t the path I wanted to follow.

One day I walked into a small café I loved. It was almost always empty, so I asked:

“What if we tried bringing more people here?”

That simple idea became the beginning of one of the most meaningful projects of my life.

The first workshop

The first workshop was a sand animation evening. We transported heavy tables, equipment and bags of sand across the city.

When the lights dimmed and the artist started creating stories with flowing sand, I knew we had created something special. element

From one idea to hundreds of workshops

Soon more artists joined the project. Then they started finding me themselves.

Together we organized more than 200 creative workshops for children and families, from painting and pottery to candle making, wool felting and seasonal crafts.

A small selection of workshops organized over the years:

The best part of the journey

The workshops became much more than creative events.
Parents began recommending workshops to one another, inviting friends and sharing ideas. Even today, years later, many of them still keep in touch.

Looking ahead

Looking back, I realize I wasn’t just organizing workshops.
I was bringing people together.
One day, I’d love to create something similar here in Norway ❤️
